We joined END. in London as On brought the inaugural Squad Race to Tobacco Dock, transforming the iconic industrial venue into a celebration of modern running culture. More than just a race, the event showcased the people, crews and communities that continue to shape the sport. Let me tell you: IT WAS INTENSE!

Representing END., four runners from across its stores and Head Office came together as one team to take on the unique relay format alongside 52 other squads from across London. Fast, loud and packed with energy, the racing was only one part of the experience. The tense moments before the start, the waiting in betweeb, seamless handovers, conversations after crossing the finish line and the crowds cheering from every corner of the spiral course - captured what the event was really about.

Around the race, Tobacco Dock became a community hub with live DJs, food and drinks, customisation stations and plenty of space for runners and spectators to connect. Every participant laced up in the new On Cloudmonster 3, the latest addition to On's Real Energy campaign, designed to deliver maximum cushioning and a highly energetic ride. A true everyday hero!

London marked the final stop of On's global Squad Race series, which has travelled through 20 cities including Beijing, Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, Singapore and Tokyo (remember my team from Berlin?). Across the series, around 1,200 squads competed for a place at the World Finals, with the winning crews now set to meet in Los Angeles this September to crown the first-ever On Squad Race champions.
