New Balance have invited us to join their Amsterdam Marathon activations with Bambas Sportsclub and we happily accepted the invitation.
Following their ongoing Berlin pop up concepts (Berlin was wild!), NB and Bambas set up their "Runners Centraal" as a pop up hub in the middle of Amsterdam to not only host panels and the shake out run, but also Saturday's pre-race dinnger. Best weather, friendly faces from the running crew scene from all over the globe, snacks & drinks plus flowers for everyone made it such a vibe - better check the pics below. PS. with a good selection of snacks and coffee, you'll always get us!
After Saturday was all about meeting "the homies" and having some good time - shoutout to Bambas, Athena, Cadence and everyone else that we bumped in or was involved in the whole activation - Sunday started early as it's RACE DAY (for most, not for us as Berlin was only 3 weeks ago, Frankfurt one week later). Weather gods were mostly good to us so the whole cheering action kept spirits high and the whole atmosphere was phenomenal!
It's crazy how (crew) running connects people so fast and creates not only a common sense but shared experiences through events like these. Always fills the heart! Can't say this weekend was chill but definitely went to work with a smile on our faces on Monday.
